Zaida and the ladybugs

Here are some pics of Zaida after nap time. Sometimes she is really happy & cute when I go in to get her. She will stand up and kick the end of her crib ... and her head fits conveniently under her mobile. Look how cute!

Museum of Ancient Life

Zaida and I went to the Museum of Ancient Life at Thanksgiving Point last week. I think it was more fun for us big kids though. You can tell in the pics that Zaida is less than enthused - and at points down-right irritated. :)

Happy Father's Day!

Picture of all the boys!

Happy Dad's day! We love you!

Give me some punch Papee - NUM!

Had a small mishap with dinner. :)

First we ran out of propane, then we apparently had the heat up too high & a few flames later ... but they tasted great!

Meme & Papa's Anniversary

Meme showing Zaida how to play the piano ... I LOVE these pictures!

Making up for lost time

So, as I'm sure you've noticed, there was yet another large gap in my blog posts. And any guesses as to why??? Yep - we were having more camera problems! Ugh!
I finally just bought a new camera. This is our third camera --- our records indicate that we will be due for another camera in 2 years. :)
So, here are a few pictures from the last couple of months ...

Playing peek-a-boo with Grampa Cliffy ...

Kickin' my feet up - whew, this walk is taking it out of me I tell ya!

"Yes, this is Zaida ..."

Happy Anniversary to Us!

Today is our 4th Anniversary!

Our wedding was the best ... we got married in San Diego. And that week was so fun! We had planned a few days of activities: golfing at Torrey Pines, surfing/beach day at LaJolla Shores, wedding at the San Diego temple, and then had our wedding luncheon that afternoon.
And then Corey and I were off to Maui!

It was so laid back & we had a lot of time to just hang out with our families & friends. I really don't think I would change a thing. Okay, well maybe my hair got a little flatter than normal with the humidity difference. And those inconsiderate Polynesian people who wouldn't move for us to get our pictures taken. But, other than that it was perfect!

For those of you that were there - thanks again for sharing that special time with us! And for those of you that didn't make it - we still love you! :)
Oh & Teri --- see ya tomorrow!

Happy Mothers Day

I got this email forwarded from my mom & I thought it was cute ...
Mom Test
I was out walking with my 4 year old daughter. She picked up something off the ground and started to put it in her mouth. I took the item away from her and I asked her not to do that. "Why?" my daughter asked.
"Because it's been on the ground, you don't know where it's been, it's dirty, and probably has germs," I replied.
At this point, my daughter looked at me with total admiration and asked, "Momma, how do you know all this stuff? You are so smart."
I was thinking quickly. "All moms know this stuff. It's on the Mom Test. You have to know it, or they don't let you be a Mom."
We walked along in silence for 2 or 3 minutes, but she was evidently pondering this new information.
"OH...I get it!" she beamed, "So if you don't pass the test you have to be the dad."
''Exactly," I replied back with a big smile on my face.
Hope all of you Moms have a wonderful day!
You deserve it!
