Wipee anyone?
The other day Zaida was sitting quietly on the couch playing with her baby wipe container. It's crinkly plastic & bright blue, so she loves to play with it. I went to check on her after a minute, cause all I could see was the back of her cute little head ... and this is what I found.

Another first
We went over to my parents this past week & took Zaida out in the yard for her to experience the sun & grass. She was not about the venture off the blankie though. She dared to touch the grass a couple of times, but that was about it!
Not even going to go off for my beloved ball. :)
How did that leg get off the blankie?!?

Sleepy head
Zaida just woke up from her nap ... as I came into her room to get her I saw her peeking out between the slats in her crib. She's always so cute when she gets up. She's got swollen, sleepy face, rubs her eyes & talks lots of gibberish. This day was different though --- any guesses as to why? Yep, you got it! She saw the camera.

Happy Birthday Meme!
It's Meme's birthday yet again. I asked her how it was turning 60 again & she responded with ... "not as good as turning 40". She's so cute! We love going to see Meme & Papa. The trip is a little difficult for us (with the babe), but it's well worth it.
At least Zaida feels comfortable ... :)
Meme gave Zaida a bell to play with - of all things!!! Mem was a music teacher, so I shouldn't be surprised. Zaida was a little nervous at first, but then she was crawling around with it in her hand. At least we could tell where she was!
Zaida is getting her Meme's love of music. Quinn (who doesn't play the piano) was tickling the ivories & Zaida was rocking & trying to dance to it. What a cutie!
How do you work this thing??? Meme & Papa have one of those chairs that reclines & lifts up by remote. My mom was zipping her around in it, which was entertaining ... but Zaida wanted to do it all by herself!

Pooped out!
After our busy weekend Zaida was just pooped ... obviously! We couldn't get her to sleep in the regular methods, so Corey suggested we put on Backyardigan's. A couple minutes later we checked on our eerily calm baby to her completely zonked out!
Trip to the Aquarium
We took a trip to the Living Aquarium this weekend ... Zaida wasn't totally sure if she liked it or not. I think she just had a hard time seeing what all the fuss was about.
