Robson's blessing

I love that this is a 3-6 month outfit and it's stretching out so you can see his belly through it. Yes, he is only a little over 2 months at this point.

Yep, too busy running around - I didn't get very many pictures. My neighbor got a bunch - I will have to scan them in. But, you all know how quick I am to get stuff done.

Buddies

I was just flipping through my photos and saw how many pictures I have of the 2 together. I'm so glad Zaida loves her brother & loves spending time with him. And, it's totally obvious to me that Robson adores Zaida. He will often smile when she comes around.

The picture below shows Zaida's model face ... she cracks me up!

And, looking at the 2 together --- I just can't believe my little girl is so big now!

I think this might be a favorite hangout spot for these two. One time I went to go get the camera to take a picture of them and I heard Zaida saying to Robson, "I'm going to be your big sister." It was such a simple phrase, but said with such love that it makes my heart happy. I also got a video of Zaida is singing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" to Robson.
I hope they will always be friends. I'm sure they will have times where they annoy each other - what siblings don't?! But, hopefully they will continue to grow together & become even closer.

All I know is that my brother and I are still the best of friends. These pictures remind me of my childhood memories with him and how much I look up to him (literally & figuratively.) I am so proud of him & am glad that he was nice to me (most of the time) when we were little. I love you Quinney!

Zaida is the best big sister! She is always willing to help out - getting diapers, binkies or even singing to calm him down.

I just weighed him yesterday & he is TWELVE pounds ... woah!

Finally!

I finally got my professional photos of my amazing kids. These are from Robson was only 2 weeks old ... but they are too cute not to post some of them!

P.S. This is the quilt I made ... can't see a whole lot of it, but at least you can get an idea.

Robson's room

Cork wall with the pennant banner, red clock & the green hooks and my favorite part --- the cow rug. On the right is the big window with the changing table & glider (I need to get a good photo of this side of the room, though).

Wood planking wall with the shelves ... I added some jars of matchbox cars, marbles & jacks. And, the shelves are holding some of my old childhood things, like my old music box & my Papa's old license plate from the big blue van.

Here you can see the crib bumper, which Amber made - so cute! Amber also made the cute mobile.

On the wall is a collaboration of some of my favorite childhood images/memories - snoopy & "stoodstock" and my old baby spoon.
