Zaida & Paxie
A rare moment caught on film. Paxton doesn't really go around Zaida too often. He's been really good with the new addition, thankfully. Most of the time he just ignores her. But, every once in a while he will come over & check to see she's still okay. I think Pax tries to pretend like he doesn't care about the new member of the family, but I see him sneaking over to check on her (or to give her a quick kiss). Zaida is funny with Pax, because she acts just as indifferent as he does. He, of course, towers over her. And, the little fiesty thing that she is ... she will just turn her head and snub him!
I hope they will be friends some day.

Happy Birthday Quinn!
Quinn's birthday was, well, a few weeks ago. (I'm a little behind on my blogging ... sorry!) It's nice to spend time with the family. And, Zaida especially likes the attention she gets from her Uncle. When he's around she is either smiling, sleeping or watching Quinn waiting for him to make her smile again.
And look at that sweet face - she sure does love her Uncle Quinney!
Big stretchy!
Whenever Zaida wakes up she does big girl stretches. She will stretch both arms abive her head ... stretch her legs out & scrunch them up to her chest a few times ... and rub her face with her fists.
After she eats she will arch her back and lean back. I will rub her belly & say "big stretchies" and then she will reach both arms up over her head. She would do that over & over if I let her.
